The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
